Experience A Wrinkle in Time If you liked Harry Potter you will enjoy this new take on magic and action. Teens should read this book, because it is full of exciting plot twists and thrilling settings. A Wrinkle in Time is a classic that anyone can enjoy. This is a great example of a science fantasy and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to escape for a couple hours and fall into a world of fantasy. Madeleine L’Engle really did a great job with every aspect of this book. I will definitely be recommending A Wrinkle in Time to my friends. L’Engle really took time to describe the characters in a relatable and interesting way. For example we first meet meg in her room while a storm outside and we learn what she is like through a inner monologue of her day and what happened. We learn that she is an ordinary girl with a bit of a temper, but a fierce loyalty to her family ( ). From this first description we learn a little about her younger brother charles. L’Engle has done so many little details that i missed some of them when i first read it. In the beginning she uses setting and dialogue to start off and open up the story. We also in the next few chapter get introduced to all the other characters through a little adventure. the characters start on their first adventure when they go to the three mrs. W’s house and learn that they have a mission. All through the rest of the book the story evolves and grows and changes. My favorite part is when we learn that meg has to go back to camazotz to save charles, because it wasn't expected. I also really liked how we found out that the three mrs. w were stars who gave up being a star to fight the black thing. Every adventure they have are so well written and throughout.
