Personal Statement
I am a zealous primary school teacher with ten years of teaching experience which reflects the dedication I have towards my profession. My keenness for learning and aspiration for career progression has motivated me to take up master level studies from a reputed world renowned university. It would polish my skills to use reflective, inspirational, and innovative strategies to impart knowledge to the smart generation of the digital era. Today’s children are living in a global village and to educate these children, teachers need to be trained with the skills necessary to support and prepare them for the future as responsible citizens. I am convinced that teachers with foreign qualification are more confident, have a deeper understanding of pedagogy, and are better equipped to facilitate student’s learning process. The quality of UK education is recognized and valued the world over. It may be hard work, but it boosts your credibility manifolds

For two to three years after the masters’ degree in Education, I plan to continue working as a teacher and practice the theory in my own classroom setting. In parallel I would take up education consulting by assisting and mentoring fellow teachers as all of us don’t get opportunities to receive the high caliber foreign education. I have already been conducting workshops for fresh teachers on “Active Learning”, “Managing Learning in the Classroom”, “Time management” and “Assessment and Evaluation”. I strongly believe to pass on whatever knowledge we have to the young and newcomers. Its’ looking at the big picture and training others in the best possible way to assist them to develop into effective teachers and spread quality education, igniting the passion for teaching in them so if they go somewhere they do the same; because passion is contagious. Later in professional life I will completely move into education
