In today’s world, abortion is a very controversial subject that has been argued continuously over the past years. Abortion is the termination of a human pregnancy, typically done before the embryo or fetus is capable of life. The most asked question is should abortion be legal? Talking about abortion, there are two sides to this topic, Pro-life and the Pro-Choice side. Those who are against abortion entirely are pro-life, and those who believe it is the woman’s right to choose are pro-choice. The solution for pro-life is to have the child and give it up for adoption, or raise it. The solution of abortion is ethically wrong and should be illegal because for the mother and the child there are consequences as a result of an abortion. As shown above, the majority of abortions isn’t because of rape, incest, or a life in dancer. Although, these are the things being accepted by civilization. The most unpopular and most real reasons such as being poor, too young, not married, but society as a whole look down on these reasons. After doing some research about abortions, I feel as if the beliefs that pro-choice holds regarding the benefits and good impacts that abortion creates is false, and continue to show that abortion should only be allowed for those victims of rape, incest, or if it is life threatening. When a woman chooses to have sex, she is doing so knowing the result could be a pregnancy. She engages in sexual activity of her own free will, and has control of what she is in for. As for a rape victim, it is the complete opposite. If you decide to have sex, safe or not, what comes after that if on you as well as the second individual involved. If you know you aren’t ready for a child, and aren’t smart about this, you must be ready to pay the consequences you are getting yourself
