PRESENT BOTH SIDES ON ABORTION VS. RIGHT TO LIFE. TAKE A STAND ON THE ISSUE.

INTRODUCTION “Pro-life” is advocating the legal protection of human embryos and fetuses, especially by favoring the outlawing of abortion on the ground that it is the taking of a human life. While Abortion on the other hand, means the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus. (Webster’s) According to the World Health Organization report as of 2008, it is estimated that there is 43.8 million number of induced abortions in the world with a rate of 28%. Abortions per 1,000 women are aged 15-44. (Sedgh et al., Induced abortion: incidence and trends worldwide from 1995 to 2008, Lancet, 2012, (forthcoming)

Unintended pregnancy is one of the roots of abortion. For some women, who wanted to terminate a pregnancy, it was due to a tragic result after them being a victim of rape. In fact, there are several reasons on why women would choose to do the process over keeping the unborn child. First and most common is to end an unwanted pregnancy, which is the root of all abortions. An expectant mother is unable to support or care for a child. Their husband or partner wanted them to. Men who are unwillingly to take responsibility for their child appear to play a major role in women’s abortions. If not clearly tied to lack of male assistance, it is certainly worsened by lack of reliable male breadwinner. These includes the inability to afford basic necessities in life such as adequate food and good shelter.
