Since there is 84 symbols located on the first page, Cruz would not have to navigate as much though many different pages to find the words that he needs to express himself The weight of the device is 3.6 pounds with 13 to 15 hours of battery life. The weight and the battery coincide with one another. The device weighs 3.6 pounds which means the battery is included and this can affect the weight. Both the Dynavox T-10 and NOVA chat 10 do not have a screen protector option. The layout for the Dynavox T-10 would be complex for Cruz to understand. There are many different page sets that he would have to change between for him to express himself. Unlike the Dynavox T-10, the Accent which has a few layouts which include visual scene display and the core vocabulary words. The NOVA chat 10 requires my client and family to pay extra money for additional voices. While the Accent 1000, contains all types of voices and the client would not have to pay extra for his voice. The NOVA chat 10 has many different types of software but the software would not work well for Cruz. Most of the software that NOVA chat 10 has available the client needs to be literate or that it is more suited for an emerging language client.
