The story of Adam and Eve is one of the first stories in the bible under the chapter, Genesis. God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. God created Adam on the sixth day, he was very lonely because he had no one else to share the forest of Eden with. God understood his sorrow and in turn made him a companion. God took one of Adam’s ribs and made a beautiful women named Eve. She was born naked with long golden blonde hair and a slender body. Eve was the only other women in the Garden of Eden. Adam was overjoyed to have a beautiful woman and wife by his side. In relation to Adam, Eve is very submissive and relies on him, as she is superior to Adam only in looks. Unfortunately, she is flawed by being consumed with her own vanity, on one occasion, Eve is described by looking at her reflection in the water and being mesmerized by her own beauty. With Eve, God brought human relationship, friendship, companionship, and marriage into the world. She was a nurturing women who tended to all the plants and animals in the Garden of Eden. At first, she was only created to accompany Adam in the forest, however, once they ate from the tree of knowledge she started to reproduce with adam and make other humans. Eve is notably important because it is due to her that she created sin by going against God and eating from the tree, as she was oblivious to any kind of repercussion. In the story of Adam and Eve, it represented that woman were created by man and so women were not seen as equally as powerful as the man. Overall, Eve was a very kind person that did not think anything bad could actually happen in the world. Once Adam and her were banished they did not just give up on life, they created two sons.
