There were many trends i found in each case. Specifically, throughout the analysis it shows that men are more likely to assault women, seen in article 1, 9 and 10. Also, recently people are starting to care about their mental health and rights, seen in article 4 and 7. I made many course connections while reading the articles, I was able to understand the terms used and more. For instance, in article one the trial is brought up with the main question, whether or not the accused had the intent to kill and what might be disorienting his ability to understand what he’s doing. In this course we learned Mens rea and Actus rea which means a guilty mind and the guilty act, although he did the guilty act did he really have a guilty mind while doing it.
