Nervously, the jaguar slumped back his shoulders and lowered his head at what he had heard, his conscience processing every little bit of it, mind swirling in a haze of negative self-inflictions, he was a worthless little jaguar that stumbled upon every word slipping through his black-laced lips, he couldn 't do much unless it was to sit around and look pretty, but he did try his best to act more of what an apprentice was expected to be. Sure, might Adderpaw be a bit disappointed that the one who said such things was still his mentor, but he wouldn 't say no to being trained and slowly let out of his shell from the others help, he looked to the brighter side of things, he could 've been paired up with his close friend Smokebird instead, and she was known to fight just about anything that moved and was in range...Nor did she knew when to stop, a whirlwind of beatings, really. When he heard that he had been placed in the hunting party he had grown rather excited, the thought of being able to hunt with other clan members and create teamwork made the apprentice happy, maybe this was his chance to try and get used to being around others?
