According to our textbook , Access to Health, addiction is defined "as a persistent, compulsive dependence on a behavior or substance, including mood-altering behaviors or activities, despite ongoing negative consequences. (Page 311)." So what are some of the causes or predispositions to addiction? What are some the treatments these are some of the questions that are going to be answered. What are some of the signs that one can is susceptible to addiction or is an addict ?
