Credibility is key for not only scholarly journals but also informative articles. It (credibility) dictate the extent to which its intended audience will believe or go with the sentiments maintained in the article (Beck 266).That is, the level of trustworthy and honesty of information provided in a written journal is dictated by how credible an article is. This is ascertained by a close evaluation of article’s elements such author’s ethos; the facts supporting claim; the date of publishing; and qualification of an author in respect to the article’s field among others (Warnick 256). As a belief for most people, an informative article is deemed right and relevant if it is proving to be credible.
