The Everything Parent’s Guide to Special Education, certain ways ADHD affects a child’s learning is that the child will start an assignment but doesn’t seem complete them (Morin,2014).

It is normal for children to have a hard time completing the assignments but struggling too much can be worrying. What a teacher sees in a student with ADHD is that they will start off in a group, but over time they will drift and eventually stop contributing (Morin, 2014).

With this type of distraction and sporadic behavior it really can affects a child’s learning. With young children already being susceptible to distractions, adding another factor like this makes it even more difficult for the students to learn. These types of behaviors and actions are sign of ADHD, but they can change over time and in different ages.
