As it has always been a dream of mine to attend the University of Wisconsin - Madison, I would like to present more information about myself and prove why I would be a great addition to this prestigious university. Throughout my high school career, I have made decisions that have prepared me for my future education, more specifically, the University of Wisconsin - Madison. By enriching myself with dual-credit and online courses as well as honors and advanced placement classes, I have delved into experiences and opportunities that would equip me for the quality education offered at Madison. Along with applying myself to rigorous academic courses, I have maintained an active role in various extra-curricular activities. My demanding courses and my commitment to extra-curriculars are only two factors that have pushed me to pursue a quality education, such as the one offered at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. …show more content…

As I have progressed throughout the years, I have challenged myself to enroll in rigorous classes that expected/demanded a high task output. These courses include Advanced Placement, honors or dual credit classes. I have maintained a high grade point average throughout my high school career, placing within the top fifth percentile of my senior class. During my senior year, I participated in a University of Wisconsin - Marinette online psychology course. This course provided a glimpse as to what to expect next year at college. During this course I had demonstrated great success, ending the course with a high A. My hard work is also demonstrated in my six other college credit classes that I have taken throughout my high school
