As I write this statement of purpose, my mind flashes back four years ago as I sat writing the admissions essay for my graduate studies. At the Florida Institute of Technology, I have gained a broad understanding of Mechanical Engineering. I have not only appeased my academic interests, but also left my mark on the University and its students. My decision to pursue a master’s degree in Business Administration stems from a desire to further my knowledge in business. I have always possessed analytical nature and my Engineering degree has only improved it. Being Mechanical Engineer at the core, I enjoy complex calculations and applied mathematics the most. However in my job at Apple Inc., I have been assisting in the installation of Enterprise-wide Resource Planning (ERP) System, over the past two years. It’s the work experience more than my complete education that has shaped the professional in me. I believe that this unique blend of experiences has made me a person with an original point of view. This blend has given me a broader perspective to understand everything in personal and professional life. In recent years, the business world has become rapidly integrated across the globe. Anyone with soaring desire to succeed in business world must have an international outlook as well as knowledge of different international arenas. I am uniquely fortunate to have a diverse background both academically and professionally which has exposed me to different continents, peoples, cultures, and business markets. I am aware of demands and challenges presented by the MBA program and feel thoroughly prepared after my professional journey so
