Adolf Hitler der Führer; Vorjahre
“إن من يتجنب الطرق الوعرة يقصر في الغالب عن بلوغ الهدف.” (Translated, from Arabian, “Those who avoid bumpy roads often fall short of achieving the goal.”) (Hitler, Mein Kampf). The quote- from my source, originally in Arabian- from Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” can be related to his earlier life and the struggles it contained. Hitler didn’t avoid the “bumpy roads” to his goal of becoming a successful artist. But, this quote is also quite ironic & has a sort of humor to it. Hitler himself had said (or rather, wrote) that he dropped out of school before he could get a secondary school degree, which would have allowed him a job as an architectural artist. One of Adolf Hitler’s many roadblocks on his path to becoming an artist was his repetitive failures relating to his education. A perfect and the most prime example of this would be, “With a mixed record as a student, Hitler never advanced beyond secondary education. After leaving school, he visited Vienna, then later returned to Linz where he dreamed of becoming an artist.” (“Rise to Power of Adolf Hitler”, Britannica). Due to Hitler’s repeated and numerous issues with his schooling, he would take a different– and much darker– path. This path …show more content…

He had tried to get into college but was rejected twice. Imagine if Adolf Hitler, the very one who brought about the Holocaust, was accepted into art college. Would he have still done all the terrible things and heinous war crimes he committed whilst ruling over Germany? Or, would he have gotten a much more pleasant history as an artist? The admission council of the art college of Vienna rejected Hitler when he tried his first attempt to apply and enroll, saying, “It (referring to his artwork) contained too few heads and faces,” and “He would never make it in the fine arts because he showed a lack of emotions or empathy in the human figure in his paintings” (“Hitler’s Embarrassing Paintings Led To His Rise In Power”, The Infographics Show). If Hitler had been accepted by the art college, or even went into a career in architecture, perhaps the Holocaust never would have existed. However, the style of his artwork could be seen as a sort of hint towards his uncaring and apathetic nature, as he found it difficult and avoided portraying human expressions & emotions, & even just humans in
