Adrian Peterson
Have you ever wanted to be a star player in the NFL. Adrian Peterson has done that and more as a running-back. He is currently the starting running-back for the Vikings and one of the best backs in the league. Adrian Peterson is arguably one of the most achieved NFL players in the league.
Adrian’s family is stacked with athletes. His dad was good at college basketball, his mom, a very successful track runner, and his uncle played pro football in the NFL. When he was eight, Adrian was playing football and his brother, Brian, got hit and killed by a drunk driver, to make it worse, Adrian watched. Also, Adrian had a tough ride as a child. In his high school games scouts would come out to watch him play. He later made it to the high school all-star game and ended the game with ninety-five yards and two touchdowns. After that he got drafted to the Oklahoma Sooners who at the time, was one of the best colleges in the league. During his college career, he made it to the cover of Sports Illustrated after his first college performance of one-hundred five yards. Later, he got drafted to the Minnesota Vikings and assigned the number twenty-eight.
Throughout the years he proved to himself, his family, and his fans he was a skilled running-back. Adrian, in 2004, graduated high school and went to college. As a rookie he set a NFL record against the Chargers by rushing for two-hundred ninety-six yards. Later, that year in 2007 he won the NFL rookie of the year. The next year, in 2008 he won the MVP for the NFL pro bowl.
You could describe Adrian as restless because he says as a child he always ran around and would never stop. You could also describe him as determined. He had a lot of obstacles but still made it from point A to point B. He also expects a lot from himself because he quotes,”Can I top this? Yeah you got to set the bar
