Adultery- An example of adultery is when John Procter turned on Elizabeth while she was sick for a long time. When John Procter turned it was with Abigail their former servant.
Betrayal- An example of this is when Mary warren was willing to help John Proctor prove that Abigail and there rest of the girl were making false accusation. But then all of a sudden she betrayed John by saying that it was true then accused John.
Corroborate- An example of this is when Elizabeth supported the decision of John going to hang on a false statement. The direct statement was

John Proctor- He is one the main characters in The Crucible. He is married to Elizabeth. In my opinion he was part of the cause why and how everything started Salem. The reason I say this is because of the time when he turn on his wife Elizabeth with their former servant Abigail. In which then Abigail wanted to get John all for herself, but what was stopping her was Elizabeth. That is when she reach out to Tituba. John he sound to be a strong, healthy man, which is also carrying for those around him. What I can infer about the author John seem to be a tall, muscular man since he a famer, but also a bit rugged.
