Changa may therefore be considered as a smokable iteration of the so-called ‘Ayahuasca-analogues’, which can accordingly be prepared from a wide range of plants. Somewhat controversially among some researchers, similar effects can also be produced by smoking ‘Pharmahuasca’, a mixture of DMT and Harmalas in their respective freebase forms.
