After roughly 200 years dark history of African-American slavers in the United States of America, African-American legally have the freedom and better life. However, it is sad that in 21st century there are quite large number of African-Americans suffering discrimination and poverty. As long as the discrimination exists, it is still difficult for them to maintain a positive attitude toward the society and custom. The main problem they have now is the poverty. I think the poverty is mainly caused by the discrimination and bad family financial situation. The discrimination toward African-American still exists in the elder and uneducated young man and these people are likely to have power, authority or position in this white-dominated country. Besides, the poverty could succeed to next generation, so if an African-American family is poor, their kids are likely to end up being poor due to lack of good education, bad influence for neighbors, or mindset from family that poverty is what they should have . Therefore, it is difficult for them to keep positive association with the culture and custom. Frankly, I could not find a good solution to help them keep positive as long as the discrimination sill there. However, I have some advises that may not fully solve these problems, but I think it will help. To reduce the poverty, they have to be educated and get a diploma from a college or a certificate of any skills because most of the African-American don't have a decent job that could give them a better wage, and having a diploma or diploma could increase their chance to get a better job with better wage. Additionally, Chinese people also received a lot against attitude toward their culture and custom. For example, I remember three yeas ago, I believe, in LA, a Chinese American father helped her little daughter took a shower and the neighbor found out this, then called the police.
