Introduction of company Air Jordan is a brand that was created in 1984. The brand was endorsed and created for Chicago Bulls great Michael Jordan. Jordan brand is a basketball footwear and athletic clothing line produced by Nike. Nike approached Mr. Jordan to become an endorse athlete in the year of 1984 after Michael Jordan left the university of North Carolina to enter the NBA draft. The original contract was one that had never been heard of before they offered Mr. Jordan an 8 year deal worth $500,000 dollars a year. This was the biggest deal at the time and money given to an athlete like this had never been heard of before. Hands down it is one of the most simple but proficient websites out there. It does not take a tech genius to be able to work the website. On the other hand the design on the other hand could use some work. It is very bland and boring. There is no color what so all. Everything is white or silver. They have to increase the creativity for the website. They could do so much with this website. They could infuse a variety of different colors to make things pop. They could also add pictures and videos of Michael Jordan and other brand athletes. The website could use more pop and more sex appeal on the website. When it comes to social media Jordan brand is lacking in this area. They have social media but are not very active on their social media. They need to make their presence bigger. They need to be more in your face and let people know that they are around. They also need to be more consistent as well. They need to keep everyone update on news, launches, special events, promotions, and new products that the company has. If they can do this they can have a dominant social media game. They have Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. All which are very outdated. Instagram and twitter are being used to showcase different events the the brand is putting on. They have pictures of things like the Jordan Brand classic tournament. Twitter and instagram both have the same content and function on the same pivot. They are integrated very well and you can get access to the same information on both. Facebook on the other hand is very different. When it comes to being integrated with the other information and sites this does not exist. There is no continuity with the other two social media platforms and Facebook. You see things that they have posted along as with information from outside sources that have nothing to do with the company.
