Earning over $100 million annually, being in gangs since he was 14, and going to prison for less than 7 years, Al Capone was one of the smartest and most infamous gangsters of all time. He did things from selling illegal alcohol, to owning brothels, to even murdering dozens of people. Al Capone was born to Italian immigrants in 1899 and had seven other siblings, all of which lived in a New York tenement. In the sixth grade, Capone, who was only 14 then, dropped out after being beaten by his principle. After he dropped out, he went to go join a street gang run by the mob boss Johnny Torrio.
