Later, he moved on to the Five Points Gang, which he graduated from. He got into a gang fight and someone cut his face with a razor hence the nickname “Scarface” (Grossman). When Torrio entered a brothel business he sent for Capone to be a bouncer at the saloon.

Al, a cousin of Johnny’s, was working as a bouncer in a sleazy nightclub in 1919. Al was known for his vile temper and brutality and had been arrested for disorderly conduct. He was also suspected of having committed two murders (Maclean 68).

This is where he met the infamous Johnny Torrio who was described as “the man who would become his lifelong mentor.” (Britannica) Al Capone was only sixteen when he became part of the Five Points Gang which Johnny Torrio was a part of. On February 13th, 1929, a phone call to Moran had a truckload of Whiskey that just arrived from Detroit and could have it at a bargain price. He has it ordered and delivered for 10:30 the next day. It happened on St Valentine's Day, a police car drove up to the building and five men got out and two were dresses in police uniforms. They went into the garage, witness heard loud noises.
