Al Capone was born on January 17th, 1899 in New York City, New York. He was a Italian Immigrant and which lead to much discrimination and he decided to join a gang. His family lived in a poor Brooklyn tenement. It was a tough place to grow up but it's what made him to the man he was. When he was 14 he hit his female teacher and was expelled and never went back to school. At age 15 just shortly after getting kicked out of school he met the gangster Johnny Torrio. Johnny was the leader of the most powerful gang at the time ¨The Five Points Gang¨.
After meeting Johnny his influence proved to be great on Al. He became Johnny's right hand man. While running with Johnny, he likes his fair share of adult beverages. When he was 16 while in a saloon in New York Al was struck by a knife across his face. Which left him with a scar. That's how he got his nickname ¨Scarface¨. He spread his work with rival gangs in Chicago which lead him to take over the city. Al and johnny along with other gangs formed ¨The Four Deuces. The Four Deuces was a headquarters for them but a gambling center for the public. After all the gambling and women his next big move was Bootlegging Whisky. His next move was to move whisky in New York with some help from an old friend Frankie Yale. His trail was from Chicago to New York making Al filthy rich and making a bigger name for himself. But with all the money and whisky he made a peace deal. With all the illegal activities he did some great to the city of Chicago. He created a peace deal with fellow gangs and encouraged them to stop the violence. But it didn't last long only about 4 months of no killings or anything to serious then the gangs got back into fights and it all went downhill from there. But he did more than just that.
