Marxism in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World During the time period known as the “First Red Scare”, tensions between the communist East and capitalist West were high. Aldous Huxley is one of the many authors to utilize this time period to display the consequences of such a form of dystopia as the Marxist East. Aldous Huxley’s science fiction novel, Brave New World, explores the implementations of a Marxist Utopia and the ramifications that it has on society to conclude that Marxism strips humans of their individual rights and freedoms.
