Alex Alonso's Overcoming Bias

Alex Alonso talks about something very personal in his article “Overcoming Bias: A Personal Statement.” Coming from Latino roots, he has found himself a victim to bias. Bias, (according to the Glossary, The SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge, 2017) is conscious or unconscious beliefs that influence a person’s perceptions or actions, which may cause that person to become partial or prejudiced.
