Alexander the Great III of Macedon was born 356 BC to 322 BC. He was a king in the Ancient Greek Macedon. Alex was born in Pella an Ancient Greek city located in the Central Macedonia. He was raised by an nurse lanike. He was tortured by the best Aristotélēs. He taught Alexander and his about different things like religion, morals,philosophy and art. Aristotle saw that Alex was in to Humer,( a Greek author) so he gave Him some copies of Humor poems and Alexander used references to them in his speeches later in life.
When Alex was about 10 years old, they brought a horse to Phillip Alex father and he didn’t want it, but Alex did. Alex trained the horse to his commands. Philip was happy for his son and told him this city is too small for all your dreams. So he got on his horse and traveled as far as India. The horse died sadly of age and he named a city after it. Aristotle stopped teaching Alex at the age of 16. Philip had just left to attend a war against Byzantine. Which he put Alex in charge. The maedis rose up against Macedonia. Alexander answered fast moving them out their land. When Philip came back he bought a small army to help his son. Alex had seven bodyguards. They traveled across Hellespont, and confronted Persian and Greek forces at the river;they won. He went south and took over Sardes. His army faced opposition in the cities of Miletus, Mylasa and Halicarnassus. Halicarnassus stood long and waited for King Darius II, to collect a bigger army. King Darius wanted peace but Alex declined it. He wanted to get into Tyre but the Tyrians didn’t want him in. Alex commanded his army to build secret ways in. But after several times it wasn’t good enough and the tyrians forces figured out. He finally broke the city’s walls. Alex killed most of them for not letting him in and offered others for
