Music uses variables which are called notes. Beats are mesaured by musical notes which are used as variables to determine the pitch of a sound in a part of a song. Musical notes are fascinating because in order to diferentiate between notes it takes ratios and notation to do so. Notes have the letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G but can also differ in each country they have half notes called sharp all this does is raise the note a half a step then it originally is. The notes that are sharp or flat are not on the scale or mode they are like little variables on the side of the notes that are called accidental notes. A beat is steady and regular in pulse and is equally spaced while rythm is not. Rythm does not have to be equally spaced. The difference is that rythm does not have to be limited and it can have more sylables.
