I feel connected to Margot, the protagonist in the story "All Summer in a Day", because we both feel isolated from our classmates because of our origins, showing where you come from can affect how people view you. For example, as the other children in the class room edges away from her, Bradbury explains that "She had only come here five years ago from Earth” (2). Margot was born on a whole different planet than the other kids, showing how her origins are different than those of her peers. Her situation is similar to mine because up until my freshman year at Bellarmine, I have always gone to public school, unlike many of my classmates at Bellarmine. In addition, when the class’s rage grew towards Margot, they “Surged around her, caught her
