The claim states that ‘allowing children to use social networks exposes them to danger’. To start with, evidences from researches shows that more than 50% children have used social network and messaged strangers at an age below the minimum required age. The warrants link together this claim and the evidence explicitly which shows how children end up disclosing their personal information to find new friends and also removing the barriers between their private and public life. This is a backup because it supports the warrant by discussing on children using SnapChat and sexting which removes the barriers between their private and public life. This statement backs up the warrant whereby it explains about how the barriers between the private and also public life are slowly removed due to children starting to post their own images and even to comment on something or even to set up a fake social media profile. This is a warrant because it links the claim and the evidence by explaining on how under the required minimum age children talked with strangers and disclose some of their personal information to get new friends which might be dangerous for them as they would not know who they are talking to. showing that the effect of social media on under aged children has make the barriers between the public and private self of the children.
