Evaluation
PBS is a pretty reliable source to use when trying to gather information. It is here where I ran into the article “Male Contraceptive Tests nearly 100 Percent Effective, Poses Side Effects” by Alison Thoet. This article was an extremely interesting read, and really begins to shed knowledge on the readers about male contraception. I really enjoyed though flow of the article as it all fit together and was not a choppy document. Amongst this, I really enjoyed the amount of information she …show more content…

This was a great way to show to people how effective, or ineffective this product will be. Near the end of the article Thoet states that this new form of contraception is still not as effective as the female form. I really enjoyed how she talked about both forms male and female. This is a great way to show the effectiveness that the male form may offer once this becomes available to customers. Overall, this was a very informational article, but this is something that I will not be subscribing to. I find the information to be very knowledgeable, but would rather take advice from my physician than Thoet …show more content…

This is something in the future I honestly can see being figured out so that the side effects are not ruining the daily lives of the patients taking these forms of contraception. If we can figure this out we can hopefully see a plethora of males begin to take these forms of contraception, and help prevent unplanned pregnancy around the world. Overall, I believe this article is a great source to start out with when finding information on male birth control, but not an ending source. I believe there is not enough information for the individual to know exactly what is going to happen when taking the pill. All this article is good for is really knowing that these new forms of contraception being introduced is almost as effective as the female contraception. When these forms of contraception become available, I would definitely talk to your physician about what form fits you
