Throughout my college experience, I have striven for excellence in my academics, pushed myself to become a leader in Alpha Phi, and my Panhellenic community, as well as been an active volunteer on and off campus. I have a passion for volunteering, as this can be seen outside of my work in Alpha Phi. I am in a program called Big Pal/Little Pal in which I spend time with an elementary aged student each week. We do homework, ride bikes and do other various activities. I am also in a volunteer program called Adopt-A-Grandparent in which I go to the local nursing home each week. Here I spend time with my adopted grandma playing cards, walking, and chatting. I also am involved with the programs Feeding Vermillion offers. The Backpack Program provides bags of food to children on Friday so they do not go hungry over the weekend. I enjoy packing the bags and delivering them to the children in need. Each of these programs enriches my life and helps me get to know the community I am living in. On campus, I am a part of the Campus Activity Board. This club plans activities across campus for 10,000 students. I am also the Current Events/Special Issues Chair for Panhellenic
