His life was brought with difficulties and adversity. The search for water, food, simply staying alive; every hour that passes a triumph of survival. There had to be a better way. After being named an MLS All-Star and the Player of the Year with Vancouver Whitecaps FC in 2018, later then he finished out the season with Vancouver Whitecaps before officially signing a six-year contract with FC Bayern Munich of the Bundesliga in 2019. Davies’s debut in the Canadian Championship at age 16 made him the youngest player ever in the annual tournament. He obtained Canadian citizenship the week after. Just one year later, he became the tournament’s youngest goal scorer, scoring two goals and one assist in two matches.
