He had emotions as any other human and had the same body structure one thing was missing though, he had no hands. The scientist died before he could finish his invention.
Karen Joy Fowler depicts a family heavily impacted by an experiment to raise a chimpanzee as their own in her 2013 novel We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves. Fowler illustrates how even though leading character Rosemary attempts to hide her monkey-like attributes, her animality is ultimately unveiled. Through Rosemary’s need for attention, shown through her physicality and impulsive choices, she evinces her animal-like characteristics. Growing up perpetually being in the arms of her beloved chimpanzee sister produced Rosemary’s desperation for physicality.

The book The House On Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros is a story about a girl named Esperanza. Esperanza is happy that she is finally moving into a new house, but it is not what she expected. Esperanza is in poverty meaning she doesn't have much money. The big house she was expecting wasn't in her favor. She moved into the house on Mango Street which is also located in what seems to be a bad neighborhood.
