The Red Cross Imagine a loved one who gets into a car wreck, they are losing blood fast, and losing all hope. Thankfully they are able to get a blood transfusion, and it saves their life. The Red Cross is the leader in collecting, managing, testing, and distributing blood. The Red Cross also assists veterans returning home, and gives disaster relief to survivors of disasters.The demand for life saving blood, veteran care, and disaster relief is being reached by the Red Cross by supplying blood, helping veterans, and caring for victims of disaster. Need People have many needs, and some are ones that someone may have never thought about, like blood, helping veterans when they return home, and disaster relief. Whether one has been in a freak accident, if someone who is a hemophiliac, or women with a difficult pregnancy. They also relied on a million volunteers who provide skilled training and labour. Not only does the American Red Cross provide disaster relief they manage the collection, examination, storage, and handling of blood donations.
