President John Adams and Benjamin Rush have different views on the American Revolution. Adam’s understanding is that the revolution was was not war but the thoughts of the people to rebel. Additionally he thinks that the revolution began before the war, lasted fifteen years, and ended when the war started. In contrast, Rush’s opinion is that the revolution never ended because of the war, but would end when a proper government that will help its citizens is established, then the revolution will end.

The Articles of Confederation was the pre existing government and was weak and ineffective. They could not raise an army, enforce laws, tax people, borrow money, regulate taxes, and it required a unanimous vote to change the Articles of Confederation. Also, the states could chooses not to follow what the federal government dictates. Its flaws lead way into conflict including Shays Rebellion. The Chesapeake Region geography is swampy, hot and rural, which is an important environmental factor for growing the cash crops. The New England colonies geography is rocky, cool, and has extreme weather, therefore it is not a favorable environment for agriculture. Also the New England colonies had waterways that allowed for trade, fishing, and shipbuilding.
The market revolution in the first half of the 1800s, is the beginning of industrialization. At time time people began to drift away from making goods of themselves and the start to make goods for other people to buy. This started to form businesses. Roads, canals, steamboats, and railroads were created at this time make transportation for goods more efficient, this allowed for bigger markets. Also factories were built and helped with production.
One development is that factories were created at this time. The factories made production faster and more proficient and allowed for industries to be created.
