Normally, trends world and high fashion are not that close to the real life of common people. However, there are many people dream to be involved in this world as models. America’s Next Top Model is a TV show created by former super model Tyra Banks, who is started as a next door girl and became a super model herself. This TV show was sought after by thousands of people in the past ten years, but circle 22 in 2015 was the final circle of this show. This article will focus on how the the TV show America’s Next Top Model raised and fell.
America’s Next Top Model (ANTM) is the first reality show on creating super model, and it experienced raised and fell in past ten years. With all these kind rewards, thousands of girls who has a dream of being model sent their videos and photos to Tyra Banks. However, the most attracting part of ANTM is no matter the competitors win or not, they are able to meet big names in fashion world such as Nigel Barker the famous photographer who roles the TV series Ugly Betty. [2] As a resourceful reality show, ANTM grabs competitors’ eyes and audiences’ attention.

Moreover, the appearance and background of the competitors are also something new for the audiences. Before America’s Next Top Model, the stereotype image of model is tall and slim. Yet, Tyra Banks is not a stereotype herself, so the competitors she chose not always stereotype. Furthermore, some of the competitors might be wired kid in others eyes, or girls who has been bullying, or single mother of two children, all of these women, could be America’s next top model, which seems like dream come true for the audience.
