The Amon G Carter Stadium has created many traditions, and memories for countless students, their families, and university friends and admirers. Why? It's just a building; a stadium that houses athletic activities and events. Amon G Carter Stadium is more than just a building; stadium. It's a place of great human emotions, successes and defeats. Dreams are fulfilled by the actualizing of an athlete’s years of hard work or dreams are destroyed when hopes are dashed. Again, reiterated, the magic of an inanimate object, a stadium changes the lives of all who enter not just the athletes that play on the field. The stadium holds a power of drawing out the human emotions of all people. Husbands and wives that met while at TCU, who went to many an athletic activity is renewed in their ties of love to one another as they stroll down the road of memories courting while sitting in this stadium.
