The play Much Ado About Nothing ends with Act 5 scenes 3 and 4. Scene 3 is one of the shortest scenes in the whole play. In scene 3, Claudio goes to the tomb of Hero where he requested by Leonato to tell everybody that Hero is innocent. He does this by first reading an epitaph aloud. As he reads out the epitaph, he tells everybody to sing solemn hymns.

Josie Rourke’s modern stage adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing is renowned for the hilarious reunion of the Doctor Who costars: David Tennant and Catherine Tate, whose chemistry is mesmerizingly brilliant and inevitable from the moment the two step on the stage. As said by the Guardian: “Tennant and Tate sparkle in Much Ado,” it is this sort of partnership that really enraptures an audience, the choice of pairing being one of the main highlights of the exceptional replication of the 16th century classic. The play centers Beatrice (Tate) and Benedick (Tennant), the disputatious lovers, who hold a reputation for being unapparent to the love that they clearly share for each other, going along with repartee, oblivious to the
Borachio is however the one who creates the plan that Don John put into motion. Borachio can be seen as the brains of the operation, perhaps John isn’t smart enough to think all of this up, it is positioned that way as John is hardly seen formulating anything for himself. John is constantly asking for help from Borachio. Borachio comes up with a plan to trick Claudio into believing that Hero is unfaithful, “Go you to the Prince your brother; spare not to tell him that he hath wronged his honor in marrying the renowned Claudio, whose estimation do you mightily hold up, to a contaminated stale, such a one as Hero.” This does not come with any input from John, it is Borachio’s plan.
In my opinion, I think that the movie version and the play version, of Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare, are not very different. They have a lot of similarities for example; Hero and Claudio met and thought they should be together, Claudio thinks he saw Hero cheating on him with another man. So therefore at their wedding he demanded for her to die because of her relations with another man. Claudio realizes he was wrong about what she did and he had to marry her cousin without seeing her at all till they’re married.
In Much Ado About Nothing, there is a hero, but nobody notices him. Dogberry is the hero, even though he himself doesn’t realize it. He is stupid, but he makes a mistake that saves the day. Dogberry doesn’t seem like an ordinary hero because he does not show any expected heroic qualities such as cleverness and selflessness. From his part in the play, he is not smart at all.
First we will start with Claudio. Claudio who acts younger than he actually is, he is the friend of Benedick and would-be groom of Hero. He is first heard of as someone who is a strong fighter
Shakespeare, a name common in English literature and a staple in high school English. Amongst his sonnets and tragedies lies comedies, one of those being Much Ado About Nothing. The play is a tale of two pairs of lovers, that of Benedick and Beatrice, as well as Claudio and Hero. Through twists of plots Hero ends up slandered and feigns death, while Claudio is humiliated. While the tale could have easily dropped into a tragedy, Shakespeare turns it around with the fair maiden called Hero and her purity, dedication, and patiences.
Stephen King’s childhood has several formative writing experiences that shaped his future. His father was absent and his mother was very busy, which led him to entertain himself and go through a plethora of babysitters. The babysitters all were different characters, and it is obvious these memories from his childhood had an impact. For almost a year instead of being in the first grade he was sick and either in bed or stuck at home. This was another circumstance that led to his need to be self-creative.
The audience may understand the concept of love and romance flowing within the characters because it was to portrayed that way but the critics would argue the fact that some of the characters like Beatrice and Benedick were made to fall in love with each other through deception. As simple as the characters were, the situations arousing in the play became more complexed as scenes passed by. What led to the trouble and chaos in the play also led to the solution in the end, when Claudio and Don Pedro were deceived into thinking by Don John that Hero was unfaithful. That very same idea also solved the problem in the end when Leonato, Hero’s father, deceived Claudio by making him believe that she is dead and that it is his duty to clear Hero’s name by reading out on her tomb and marrying the said niece who looks just like Hero. Again the plotting against own is present where the said niece turns out to be Hero and she comes back to life again.
Shakespeare reveals the theme that people deceive others out of love, embarrassment, and hatred. All evidence comes from Much Ado About Nothing. Love makes people act less rationally than they would normally behave. In this case, Claudio has fallen in love with Leonato’s daughter, Hero. In this love-dazed state, Claudio seems thoroughly confused at Don Pedro’s plan to win Hero over on his behalf, due to being lied to about the actual plan by Don John.
Shakespeare’s play, Much Ado About Nothing, is a play about multiple relationships. Hero and Claudio are the first relationship, and Beatrice and Benedick are the other relationship. The play talks about the ideal traits of a couple in the Shakespearian time period. Times have changed, as couples have evolved and have generally become less “traditional”. Back in the day, the female would submit to the male.
In William Shakespeare’s play, Much Ado About Nothing, he spins a tale of misunderstandings leading to terrible consequences, but truth prevails in the end. He sets the scene in the mansion of the Messinan Governor Leonato. Don Pedro has just won a huge battle and has decided to pass through Messina. As he arrives, accompanied by Claudio and Benedick, Claudio quickly falls in love with Leonato’s daughter Hero, and Beatrice engages Benedick in a battle of wit and insults. As the play unfolds, the audience learns that Don Pedro’s brother, Don John the Bastard, will try to destroy Don Pedro’s plans no matter the cost or consequence.
In William Shakespeare’s Much Ado about Nothing many characters are compared and contrast as many are paired up. Two characters in particular who could be contrasted and compared are Hero and Beatrice. Hero and Beatrice are cousins and a very different from one another. However, as the play progresses and the characters begin to develop, some similarities between the two begin to show up. Leonato is Hero’s father while Beatrice has no parents.
