Most Americans, when thinking about world hunger, think about the children. But that doesn’t mean they do anything to solve world hunger. Some people think it’s their fault for not being able to have food, others say they don’t have enough money or food to spare. The Main cause of hunger is poverty within their community or household resulting in 10% of Kids going hungry. But HEY it can’t be just the children going hungry right? RIGHT! There are also adults that also go hungry. The people of America need to focus, not just on the kids, but also the adults.
The solutions experts have is the new program called: Adopt a Hunger. Adopt a hunger is a way for people, a hungry child, and a hungry adult to solve their problems. There are many steps to adopt a hungry like: gather, stamp, collect, pay, and sell. Many children and adults are poor and hungry. This new program allows the kid of the hungered adult to be gathered and placed in a small home. In this temporary small home the child will be temporarily clothed, washed, fed and taught. Before the child does all those things it gets stamped and labeled into a catalog for sale. This ‘catalog’ will be present in everyday grocery stores and newspaper stands. While in this house the child has chances to meet others and work chores for money that will be sent to the hungry parent. …show more content…

This will be a temporary way for the family that’s adopting them to get a little reward, for the kid to eat, and for the adult to be able to feed themselves. According to Daphne Haphen, major in business and financing, this will be a cheap costing way to feed the child and also help the person helping the child and around 15% of American adults go hungry sacrificing food/money for their children. Living with their host family the child will be treated like a normal child. The child will be able to live in a fun loving environment and enjoy poverty-free
