Censorship is an unfair way to protect students and should not always be used in schools. It may sometimes take away people’s rights, limit their options, and upset others from the decisions.
The first reason, is that the 1st Amendment contributes to showing censorship is against the law. For example, the 1st Amendment includes the right to freedom of speech, and censorship violates that. In a recent survey, 80.4% of students said that they felt censorship violates their rights to the constitution. A second example would be authors who work hard on their writing but may not get a chance to share it.
