Synopsis: On March 1, 2017, I, Officer LESSANE, with the Beaufort Police Department, responded to the incident in reference to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, I made contact with the property manager who provided me with the following information. Interview with complainant: (ANGELA COGSWELL) COGSWELL stated on March 1, 2017, she received a complainant from a tenant (TERICKA NEAL) who resides in apartment 619. COGSWELL stated NEAL reported two small holes being in her kid's wall. She stated NEAL made complainants of observing smoke coming from the kid's bedroom. COGSWELL stated she called the non emergency and requested for an officer to responded to the incident location. Interview with victim: (TERICKA NEAL) NEAL stated on February 28, 2017, at approximately 5:22 PM, she heard a loud noise that came from her kid's bedroom. NEAL stated she walked to the bedroom and observed what she thought appeared to be smoke coming from the ceiling. She stated she observed two small hole, one in the ceiling and one in the wall, that appeared to be a bullet hole. NEAL stated she made the front office aware of this incident on …show more content…

I gathered the above listed statement in regards to the above listed incident type. I walked over with the complainant to Building 600, Apt. 619, where there I met with the victim. I gathered the above listed statement in reference to this incident. I walked to the bedroom where the incident took place and observed a hole in the wall that appeared to be a bullet hole. From my observation, it appeared the bullet came into the bedroom from the apartment next door, (Apt. 617) and came into the bedroom and exited through the ceiling. I looked around the bedroom and searched for the bullet with negative contact.
