2.2. Analyse the impact of attachment on the role of the Early Years Educator. The impact on attachment as an Early Years Educator is a vital role. We promote healthy attachments by forming key relationships between adults and children in our setting. We create a positive and secure environment, working to ensure all children feel safe, appreciated and important. We do this by being inclusive, treating each child as an individual and promoting mutual respect. One of the most natural factors of being an Early Years Practitioner is nurturing the children in our care, this is salient in creating healthy attachments in children. This supports effective attachment by providing consistent individual care, children show their response to this by coming to us when they are hurt sad or just need a cuddle, supporting the child to trust you allows you to understand and meet their needs. Furthermore, we impact create routines that help children to trust adults, they feel more settled and freer to play, explore and learn. This is especially important to children who struggle to form healthy attachments at home, when they come to the nursery we provide them with this, we are always involved and meet their physical and emotional needs.
