I believe that Equality wasn’t enough back in 1776 If slaves lived up to this day, everyone would be different. In the year of 1776, there were slaves for white people. They all had to sit where they were assigned. Which wasn’t fair for them. They all had to do things for them like chores, cooking, babysitting, etc. When they do something wrong they get punished for it, punished badly. “In 1776, there was no equality for the half million slaves who labored in the colonies.” Everyone has equal rights as of now. There are no slaves at this time of year, everyone is helping one another and taking turns with household chores. Not having slaves and punishing them for little things. I wonder if anyone of them felt sorry for those black people. But no, they think they were trash and didn’t belong on this earth. How would it be if women were treated equally like men back in 1776? “Nor was there equality for women who were viewed as inferior to men in terms of their ability to participate in society.” Women did not have equal rights as men did back in 1776 because they thought women were not as strong as they were. If women weren’t equally treated, both genders would have gone against each other. Well, that’s what I think. But as of today, women are being treated equally. Not of how it was back then. If it were continuing today, I would fight for it. Every woman would. My Life If my sisters and I didn’t do house chores who would? If I were to do chores all by myself I would be very exhausted. I would have asked for help. But since there’s only me n my younger sister doing them I wouldn’t have a problem doing them myself. Sometimes I don’t do them because I work from 6 to 10. That means it’s hard for my little sister too. So we take turns doing
