A book that hit bookshelves across the United States in 2010 was A Dogs Purpose written by W. Bruce Cameron. You might know this book because it was recently released as a major motion picture film in January of 2017. The book’s story took place in a dog’s viewpoint of the world throughout his many lives. The main character in this book was a dog named Bailey who has lived more than one life. This has gave Bailey many opportunities such as to watch a boy named Ethan grow up. The qualities this character has in this book are that this dog has a sense of humor, protects his owner, and is always there for his owner no matter how they are feeling. He was eventually separated from his family and ended up being picked up by a woman who was holding a large number of animals. The woman was later forced to give up all these animals and the result was that Bailey’s first life would shortly end. The next life that Bailey experienced was that he met a little boy named Ethan. He watched the little boy grow up from witnessing him riding a bicycle to heading off to college, but this life was about ready to conclude.
