In “And Then There Were None”, by Agatha Christie, ten strangers are invited to an island. Once there, they are all accused of murdering someone and getting away with it. Some of the guests start to die. Eventually, there is about seven of the ten strangers still alive; they realize that one of the seven remaining is actually the madman who is killing everyone. But, is it good or okay to kill the people that have killed others? Should it be: evil vs. not as bad? Justice Wargrave says “I reiterate my positive belief that of the seven persons assembled in this room one is a dangerous and probably insane criminal” (149).
