Success should be defined as your way of life, how you are involved with a community, or how well you are with a job. Others may not have the same type of reasoning. For example, in the article, “8 Ways Highly Successful People Carry out Successful Plans,” written by blogger Jose Ramos, he states one way that a successful person can carry out a successful plan is by, “Saving Decision Making for Important Things.” In the article, he states, “Only a few decisions truly matter when you want to plan to succeed. They’ve internalized that every decision doesn’t have to be optimal or perfect, which frees them to make quick decisions most of the time.” (Ramos) Personally, I agree with Ramos' statement. List, he states, “Medvec and the others argued that bronze medalists appear happier than second place finishers because the most easily imagined counterfactual, or alternative outcome, for the silver medalists was the gold; in contrast, the most easily imagined alternative for the bronze medalists was failing to medal at all. In other words, perspective is everything—except we don’t always realize which way our perspective is pointing.” (List) Perspective is a big thing to have for success.
