Clearing, Re-balancing and Energizing the Field It is common to think of healing energy being sent, channeled, or transferred through the energy worker to the client. Another description is that as the energy fields of the healer and client come into contact, there is a transformation taking place. So for example, as the healer’s hands move through the field, the congestion in the energy field of the client is not so much swept away as it is transformed or entrained to a higher frequency. Therefore, it is usually not necessary to shake off your hands after clearing energy.

The muscles will relax and the breath will slow and become more regular. Blood vessels near the skin will dilate. The client may become cool, so be sure to keep a blanket nearby. (Note: Some forms of energy use upward strokes which energize the body. However, in Healing Touch the purpose is to relax the body so it can heal itself.)

• Remember to let the healing energy of the universe flow through you continually. It can energize and balance you as you give a treatment. Then allow the healing energy to flow through your hands.
