This might be shocking but sometimes coaches need coaches. In an article called “Even Coaches Need Coaching” written by John Romello talks about how his job as a personal trainer requires him to hire a trainer for himself so he can be more knowledgeable in assisting his clients with better effective workouts. With that speaking my team of coaches must be willing to learn from other coaches prior to hire. At the coaching workshops coaches there will be be taught by professional coaches that will help them become better coaches. Most of the professional coaches will first understand how to use proper words. Words can have a very fragile effect on people if used wrong. At our coaching workshop the professional coaches will teach them how to get there clients to think so they can overcome their obstacles. In the same article Mark McGuinness states that in order to help a person overcome anything you must make them think. He also states that the best way to make someone overcome their issues that frighten them is have them think about what their hero would do or someone who they strongly look up would do. By doing that you’re able to help the Individual gain courage. Most importantly it’s important to make a client understand that fear isn’t a bad thing and to put yourself out there to be seen and heard. Coaches who work at my facility must understand that a lot of the people who come into my facility will suffer from low self-esteem and is going to need some push to overcome a lot there issues and fears. You feel a subtle pressure to give an account of yourself, whether you succeed or fail. You feel like you’ll lose face if you don’t follow through on what you’ve said you will do, but addition to that he also says that you shouldn’t have to rely on other people to gain confidence or to feel fired up in order to achieve something because his reason is the initial spark can only come from you. But when it comes to finishing, and doing what it takes to make your dream come true makes up a positive peer pressure effect. Some of the options that wasn’t giving in that article to make a person want to overcome their issues is and also that my team of coaches will learn is to tell your clients to believe in themselves, because without that it’s very easy be give up. Second will be to set goals and most important is to set deadlines for their goals. Setting up deadlines it will push the client to want to finish also when the project is finish it will give the client a feeling of accomplishment and let the client understand that hard work does pay off.
