Summary of the plot

The film Forrest Gump is about a low I. Q, but has good intentions. He lives with his mother, his father died when he was small. He grow up with his one and only and best friend Jenny. His mom lets him decide his destiny the way he likes. His mom is a very kind hearted lady who makes Forrest understand every thing in an easy way. He is a kind hearted boy, but with a low I.Q. Who lives in Alabama with his mom. His father left them and went on a vacation. His best friend is a girl name Jenny. Jenny tells him to run every time when the bullies tries to bully him. That is why he becomes a fast runner boy, who runs faster then from other at his age. He plays for the school football team, his job is only to run with the ball. When he graduates from college, he joins United States Military. In military he finds a friend named Bubba in the buss. They wants to buy a crimping boat after the war ends. But when they take part in the Vietnam war as a soldier. Their pluton gets attacked by Vietnamese. He gets shot in the butt. He saves Lt. Dan and many others, and gets Medal of Honor by the president. In the hospital he plays ping pong. He even gets to represent USA in the pig pong world Championship in the China. When he is retired from the military, he buys a shrimping boat as he promised Bubba. Lt. Dan joins him. At the end they makes a lot of money out of shrimping boat. On day he decides to go for a run and runs for three and a half years. At the end of the film he marries Jenny and they have a boy name Forrest, but Jenny dies soon after they gets …show more content…

I think the effects made the movie even more interesting. For example when Forrest plays ping pong in the hospital, it looks to realistic that man things he s really good in ping pong. Or when they are in Vietnam and they bomb Vietnam, it looks like it is real. It is smoke fire everywhere which makes the scene look like reality.

But the Effects which I liked most were the feather and the editing with the original presidents. The clips where Forrest met presidents, seemed very realistic that it felt like it really happened. The ones who edited the scenes were really skilled software engineers. The movie got very interesting and fun to watch with this.

I liked the feather, because the movie started with the music and the feather. And I think the feather is some kind of symbol, maybe peace, hard work or never giving up. And at the end of the movie we saw that when Forrest opened the book the white feather fell and drifted towards the
