I enjoyed reading Hamlet very much. It was entertaining, interesting, and kept me wondering what would happen next. There were many thoughts going through my head when I was reading Hamlet. The number one thing that I was wondering was, were Hamlet’s actions justified? When I was done reading no fear Shakespeare I went back through the story to try and answer that question. After I went back through the story I made my conclusion. I do believe that Hamlet’s actions were justified. In this writing I will be explaining how Hamlet’s actions were justified. One way Hamlet’s actions were justified was that he was very upset at the beginning of the play. Being upset can make you do things that maybe you would not normally have done. He was upset for multiple reasons, one reason he was upset was because his father had died. And the other reason was that his mother took the loss of his father very well and had gotten married to Hamlet’s uncle right after his dad died. That made him think that his mother didn’t even care that his father had died. He didn’t understand how she could marry his uncle, which was Hamlet’s dad’s brother right after his dad had died. He believed this message formthe ghost but wanted confirmation. Then Hamlet confirmed and found out for sure that Claudius killed his father. He had done so just so that he could marry Hamlet’s mother. He wanted her for himself so killing him was the way to Hamlet’s mother.
