In a scenario she describes how Anna commented on a photo of a girl she knew from her seventh-grade class. Many have commented on her post so Anna founded funny and without thinking commented “Uummmmm…ew?” As a result, Maya found the comments to be upsetting. It’s obviously that Anna meant it as a joke, but comments that are meant to be rude or funny are not able to be perceived behind a screen.
